The Fool's Gold of Healthcare

​In mining, fool's gold looks valuable enough to deceive the inexperienced. It has a price, people desire it, it is shiny, looks beautiful on the surface, and can even be sold at a higher price than real gold to the inexperienced buyer… but it contains no real value. 
 
It can't be used in dentistry, electronics, medicine, aviation, space exploration, cosmetics, manufacturing… 
 
and it can't be made into jewelry 1000 years from now.
